On 8th March, an artist-run initiative was organised by Danielle Bain to gather on the iconic Melbourne street art spot: Hosier Lane . For this opportunity, I contributed with a custom illustration that found its place among the vibrant tapestry of stunning artwork and graffiti on the walls.

A first feminist group exhibition!

In November 2022, I had the delightful pleasure of being part of a group exhibition organised by the iconic (and one of my personal favourite shops in Melbourne city) - the QVWC SHOP! My Kitsune and Our Bodies Our Choice illustrations were selected to be part of the exhibitions running from November to January.

To commemorate the event, the Shop and Centre collaborated on creating a calendar featuring a selection of feminist illustrations, one for each month. I was incredibly fortunate to have my illustration " Our Bodies Our Choice " chosen to represent the month of August!

The theme of the 2023 calendar - Women* Now - is a reflection of this current moment. It's a call for a feminist future, and for women to hold space, to be seen, heard and valued equally.

The Queen Victoria Women’s Centre is an iconic Melbourne landmark that supports women (cis, trans and non-binary inclusive) through creative experiences, community resources and the power of connection.

The Queen Victoria Women’s Centre Shop is a feminist design concept store in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, showcasing products locally sourced and designed by Victorian Women artists, designers and makers.

ACMI X Screen Industry Works-In-Progress Night

On the evening of August 18, I had the incredible privilege of showcasing my work-in-progress mini animated movie at the ACMI X space in front of a talented audience from the screen industry.

It was an amazing experience, and surprisingly, public speaking turned out to be less intimidating than I had imagined! I had the opportunity to present my animation at its latest stage and also share a behind-the-scenes video that showcased the process of bringing illustrations to life through animation.

Lately, I have developed a strong passion for animation and the art of transforming my still images into dynamic characters that tell captivating stories. I am filled with eagerness to explore the boundless possibilities of storytelling through this medium, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me!
